Upgrade the performance of your Audi RS6 / RS7 C8 with the do88 Performance Intercooler Kit. The already efficient twin intercooler system for the dual-turbo V8 is further refined by do88 for more cooling, better airflow, and stronger repeatable performance.

Overview

Designed as direct OE replacements, this kit uses 105 mm Garrett Motorsport cores and maximises every available millimetre of space behind the bumper and wheel arches. The result is a major reduction in intake air temperatures and restriction, supporting everything from stock boost to heavily tuned setups.

The intercooler cores are designed to do88 specifications and manufactured by Garrett Motorsport using advanced aerospace manufacturing methods. Densely packed thin cooling fins provide extremely efficient heat transfer for consistent performance—especially under sustained load and track conditions.

Airflow and End Tank Design

do88’s free-form cast end tanks are engineered to distribute airflow evenly across the core. Extensive development using CFD analysis, 3D-printed prototypes, and flow bench testing led to an optimised design for maximum airflow and efficiency.

A key improvement is the larger hose connections:

70 mm (2 ¾”) connections vs OEM 60 mm (2 3/8”)
That’s a 37% increase in diameter, reducing a major restriction point and improving turbo efficiency at higher power levels.

Carbon Fibre Ambient Air Guides

Included are premium carbon fibre ambient air guides (vacuum-infused prepreg carbon fibre, twill 2×2 mm). These mount securely with four screws and ensure the larger core surface receives consistent cool airflow.

Installation and Build Quality

The kit includes silicone hoses designed for the larger connections and to mate cleanly to the OE charge pipes. Intercooler welding is carried out in-house at do88 in Sweden to ensure consistent quality.
