These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and apply to all purchases made through Ecotune UK Ltd. By placing an order, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Orders & Contract Formation
2.1 Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, it constitutes an offer to purchase goods. An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not constitute acceptance or form a binding contract.
A legally binding contract is only formed when:
- We dispatch the goods and
- You receive a dispatch confirmation email, or
- A staff member confirms your order by phone or email
Until then, we reserve the right to:
- Decline, cancel, or limit any order
- Refuse orders due to:
- Pricing errors
- Stock issues
- Suspicious or fraudulent activity
- Misuse of discounts or promotions
- Bot or reseller activity
This complies with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and UK contract law.
2.2 Pricing Accuracy & Refusals
If a product is priced incorrectly, we may cancel the order even if payment was made. You will be refunded in full. We are under no obligation to honour errors prior to dispatch.
3. Payments
All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change without notice.

4. Dispatch & Delivery
4.1 Timescales
- Orders placed before 13:00 GMT (Mon–Fri) are usually acknowledged within 48 hours
- Items in stock are typically dispatched within 2 working days
- Delivery is usually completed within 4 working days from dispatch
- Where possible, Ecotune will always strive to dispatch same day.
- We will inform you of delays such as restocking or manufacturing wait times where possible.
4.2 Delays & Liability
Delivery times are estimates only. We are not liable for courier delays or external disruptions.
4.3 Delivery Acceptance & Risk
Risk passes to you upon delivery. If you can’t inspect the parcel, sign as "UNCHECKED". Some couriers may deliver without signature.

- Import duties and taxes are your responsibility
- We are not liable for customs delays or charges
6. Cancellations & Your Right to Cancel
You have 14 days from receipt to cancel.

7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
7.1 Return Conditions
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Include original packaging and proof of purchase
7.2 Non-Returnable Items
- Used or installed items
- Software or digital products
- Custom or bespoke parts (e.g., exhausts)
By downloading digital products, you waive your cancellation rights.
7.3 Return Costs
You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty. Special-order items may incur a 10% restocking fee.
7.4 Refunds
Refunds are issued within 14 days of inspection and returned to the original payment method.
7.5 Exchanges
Approved exchanges are dispatched within 2 working days.
7.6 Return Instructions
Include the following:
- Full name and address
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Refund or exchange preference

8. Faulty Goods & Warranty
Email us with a description and photos. Approved faults may be repaired, replaced, or refunded. Return postage will be reimbursed for confirmed faults.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Courier delays or third-party failures
- Loss of income, time, or downtime
- Improper installation or use
Our total liability is limited to the original purchase price.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
We comply with UK GDPR. Your data is:
- Only used to process orders or fulfil legal obligations
- Never shared without your consent

11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by Scottish law. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. Disputes may be referred to ADR or the Financial Ombudsman Service.
12. Road Testing & Incidental Damage
12.1. As part of Ecotune’s comprehensive diagnostic, servicing, and post-repair quality control procedures, road testing of the customer’s vehicle may be carried out before, during, or after completion of work. This process ensures that all systems operate correctly and that the vehicle performs to expected standards under real-world conditions.
12.2. All road tests are conducted by Ecotune’s trained and qualified technicians, who exercise due care, professionalism, and adherence to road safety regulations. Vehicles are driven on public roads that are considered safe, suitable, and appropriate for the type of testing required.
12.3. By instructing or authorising Ecotune to undertake maintenance, repairs, or any form of service, the customer expressly consents to such road testing. The customer also acknowledges and accepts that inherent risks associated with road use — including, but not limited to, tyre punctures caused by nails, screws, sharp debris, potholes, or other road hazards — are unpredictable, beyond Ecotune’s control, and may occasionally occur.
12.4. Accordingly, Ecotune shall not be held liable for any incidental or consequential damage arising from unavoidable road-related hazards encountered during a test drive, provided that the following conditions are met:
- The road test was reasonable and proportionate to the nature of the work carried out;
- The vehicle was visually inspected for roadworthiness prior to testing;
- There is no evidence of negligence, misuse, or misconduct by Ecotune personnel.
12.5. In the unlikely event that such incidental damage occurs, Ecotune will notify the customer promptly, explain the circumstances, and may, at its sole discretion, offer assistance, repair, or goodwill support. However, unless otherwise mandated by law, Ecotune is under no contractual or statutory obligation to provide compensation or undertake repairs for damage caused by external, uncontrollable factors during an otherwise legitimate and careful test drive.
