An aluminium charge pipe kit for BMW B48 and B46 engines with the water-cooled intercooler. BMW fits plastic charge pipes that can fail with age or extra boost, causing limp mode or a shutdown. This kit replaces them with mandrel-bent aluminium pipes and a flexible silicone joint that copes with thermal movement.

Features

12% more flow than the original: 558 CFM at 150 mbar (2.17 psi) against 500 CFM.
Flexible 3-hump silicone hose between the upper and lower pipes, reinforced with aramid fabric and stainless steel rings, so it will not pop off as the pipes expand.
Pipe ends are CNC-machined 6063 aluminium with 3 mm wall thickness, so the clamping surface will not deform even if clamps are over-tightened.
Lower pipe 60 mm (2 3/8 in), upper pipe 76 mm (3 in), mandrel bent, black powder coat.
CNC-machined MAP sensor boss, turbo connection and throttle body flange.
Two CNC-machined 1/8 NPT ports for methanol injection or a boost pressure sensor; two plugs included.
High-quality hose clamps with an inner ring that protects the hose.
Does not interfere with the engine cover.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
