This do88 kit replaces the rubber radiator and coolant hoses on DSG cars with the 2.0 TSI / TFSI EA888 engine with silicone hoses. The original rubber hoses can crack with age; these are reinforced for high pressure and temperature and come in black or blue. It is made only for the EA888 engine and does not fit cars with a manual gearbox.
Features
- Silicone hoses with three to five layers of reinforcement, depending on inner diameter.
- Replaces the upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses, DSG coolant hose, turbo coolant hose, auxiliary water pump hose, bleed hoses and expansion tank hose.
- Black or blue. Colour makes no difference to performance.
- The original hose connections are reused; the original clamps are cut off with a hacksaw.
