An aluminium charge pipe kit for the B58 Gen 2 engine, as fitted to the BMW M340i and many other models. The standard charge pipe is fragile and can break even on stock cars during track sessions. do88 joins the two pipes with an aramid reinforced 3-hump silicone hose that absorbs thermal expansion in any direction, so the hose does not pop off, and the pipes have CNC machined connection ends that will not deform under tight clamps.

Lower pipe 60 mm (2 3/8 inch) and upper pipe 76 mm (3 inch), with smooth mandrel bends
Flexible 3-hump silicone hose with aramid reinforcement and stainless steel rings between the upper and lower pipes
CNC machined 6063 aluminium hose connections with 3 mm wall thickness
CNC machined MAP sensor boss, turbo and throttle body connections
Two 1/8 NPT ports for methanol injection or a boost pressure sensor, with two plugs included
Mikalor hose clamps with inner rings included
Does not interfere with the engine cover
Black powder coat finish

Fitting note

Space between the throttle body and the slam panel is very limited on G-chassis cars. In some cases the edge of the slam panel may need grinding back by a few millimetres to make room for the pipe.
