An aluminium intake manifold with an integrated water-to-air charge cooler for the BMW B58 Gen 2 engine. It replaces the standard plastic manifold and charge cooler and is aimed at tuned cars and track use, where heat soak and a restrictive plastic manifold become limits. It is part of the do88 MERA range and includes an auxiliary fuel rail for top feed port injection.

- Garrett Motorsport bar and plate air-to-water core, 102 mm (4 inch) thick, with 11 water cooling rows against 6 standard
- Lower inlet air temperature under identical conditions: 23 deg C against 41 deg C standard
- Airflow of 874 CFM against 595 CFM at 0.1 bar (1.45 psi) pressure drop, 47 percent higher
- Peak power gain of 5 hp, mid-range gain up to 18 hp and torque gain up to 28 Nm, measured with a bootmod3 Stage 2+ tune on a 2017 340i
- Cast aluminium end tanks designed with CFD, replacing the plastic standard manifold
- Fits under the standard engine cover; standard or aftermarket covers with OE connections can be used
- Spin-off oil filter stays accessible for oil changes without removing the manifold
- Thermal barrier spacer insulates the manifold from cylinder head heat
- Plug-and-play fit, with brackets for wiring looms and the engine cover included

- Auxiliary fuel rail with female AN-8 threads for port injection, designed for Injector Dynamics ID1050x-34-14 or Bosch EV14 Compact (K) injectors; injectors are not included; injector blanking plugs are supplied if the rail is not used
- 1/8 inch NPT port on each cylinder runner for nitrous or methanol injection, with sealing plugs
- Sensor pad with three 1/8 inch NPT ports, and two 1/8 inch BSPT water temperature and bleed ports, with sealing plugs
- Includes thermal barrier spacer and 12 FKM-silicone O-rings, crankcase vacuum plug and fuel tank breather cap
- Cars with a mild hybrid engine need the alternator modified; see the installation instructions

Returns Policy
